Wow. So I feel like a complete and total retard. I can't apologize enough for falling off the face of the earth over the past nine months. My life has gone on a complete and total whirlwind and sadly this site took a backseat. I don't want to bore you with everything I've done over the past few months (I just realized that I've been out of comission for nine months...no I have not had a baby or anaything of the sort. Good lord...I can't even keep a site updated, can't even imagine taking care of a lil' bebe). But I will say that being a theatre major is a ton of hard work and after spending the summer in London and Scotland performing shows I want to move there and live there for the rest of my life.
I've updated DD2 all the way up to Chapter 24 and surprise! I'm going to actually write the final chapter and upload it here and at the new NF.com. I was recently diagnosed with the dreaded Mono so I will hopefully be able to hang out at home and get some freaking writing done. I'm also going to work hard on Behind the Mask but with my recent track record I wouldn't hold my breath on it.
I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still alive and not amongst the dead.
January 7, 2008
First off, I would like to begin by apologizing profusely for the infrequent updating and for me just kind of disappearing off the face of the planet. Life has been pretty hectic for me, being a theatre major I was thrown head deep into being the head of properties for TWO enormous shows at my university and also had to do auditions and the like for the upcoming semester. I had full intention of writing over break, but seeing family, friends, and taking part in a Caribbean cruise stifled my writing.
I am working dilligently on the latest update for DD2 and I apologize to everyone who has been let down or felt any disappointment for my lack of creativity and laziness. Don't worry, I'm still here. Just think of this as a mid season break for DD2. I am not on strike like the rest of the writers in the world. Hahaha. Besides, I really don't want to see DD2 end, and with at least four chapters left, it will make me sad to see it go.
Sadly, no updates right now, but I'm going to work hard to get the next chapter up by the end of this week.
October 20, 2007
I apologize for the infrequent updating. I've been crazy busy with life and yeah...just trying to make my way in the world. Many thanks to all of you who voted over at the Vanilla Rush Awards - DD2 won big and I'm just flabbergasted that I would be voted the Best Villan of them all (boo yah!). But seriously, I can't thank y'all enough for sticking by me and my stories and deeming them worthy of enough of your votes and time and all that. Really, you guys just make me insanely happy...guh, not enough love for y'all!
Voting is going on at the Satisfaction Awards and the button for the link is in the Awards section of the site.
I've messed around with the Wasted page (meaning up to chapter 6 has been updated woo!)
Chapter 19 is up on DD2 and I also added a soundtrack page. If there's any song that reminds you of Lauren, Justin, Trace, Maura, Elliot, etc then by all means drop an email or hit up the c-box and I'll add it in there (you will of course be getting credit if you make a suggestion.
Still looking for new consestants over at Sugar n' Spice...go join if you want to be apart of the best fan fiction network out there - Tasting Eden!
I am fervently working on Chapter Twenty and I also have something else in the works. Click on the fiction link to see the summary.
That's about it! Everyone enjoy the updates and much love to you all!
October 12, 2007
Voting is still going on for Vanilla Rush so go and cast your votes and the like.
Nominations for Satisfaction Awards keep coming in and I can't thank you guys enough for all the support!
Chapter 18 of DD2 is up, please enjoy! All I have to say is Chapter 19 will be even better than this. Muaha.
Thanks times a million and much love!
October 8, 2007
Picked up 8 awards at the first season Secretive Passions Awards. Thank you to all who voted! It is seriously such a treat to be recognized in that way. The awards are updated in said section and I've added a cast page and more photos to the album on the DD2 page so go check that out. The update is coming along juuust fine and should be up sometime this week.
Voting has also started at the Vanilla Rush Awards so go show some love for me and the other Tasting Eden ladies!
Thanks again everyone! Much love
October 6, 2007
Thank you all for the birthday/anniversary wishes! I'm so excited I managed to keep something up for a bit longer than a year. Ha. Voting at the Secretive Passion Awards has ended and thanks to all who voted! Winners should be posted soon so I'll let you all know if something does happen. And thanks for the nominations at the Satisfaction Awards. I'm a bit flabbergasted that Little Girl Lost is getting the pull it's getting (who's nominating it? Driving me nuts!). Anyway...
I wanted to update DD2 sooner than this, but thanks to load in over the weekend (in which I freaking fell off a ladder, scraped up my knee, and possibly bruised my tailbone, I didn't feel like writing. Let's tack on the fact that I'm getting over a terrible head and chest cold and yeah...the creative juices certainly weren't flowing. But rehearsal was cancelled last night and so here we have it! Chapter 17 of DD2!
Also thinking about starting a new story but we'll see how that goes. I have to run to a dress rehearsal now, kill me please.
October 3, 2007
So first things first: it's October and therefore its the first anniversary of Streetcorner Symphony! Woo! I can't believe it's already been a year with Tasting Eden and I couldn't be happier. Nikki and Brit have been the best mamas and the rest of the sisters are just spectacular. Thank you ladies, for giving me a home and welcoming me with open arms. Here's to another year of good fiction, reviews, and all around amazingness!
Chapter 16 of Displaced Deception has been added.
Also, Secretive Passions is open for voting so be sure to check that out and vote for your favorite stories. I know DD and DD2 have been nomninated for a few things so if you feel they deserve it, go show 'em some love!
I do believe we may be getting a little Wasted soon...hehehe.
Sugar n' Spice is still accepting applicants so if you're looking for a host, give it a go! And go look up the Sugar Shack!
Other than that I have a shit ass cold and have been doing tech rehearsals for one of the shows at my university every single night from 5:30 to 10:30. Please let me know when I can die.
Although I am taking the day off today and playing hooky to catch up on life, get better, and maybe do some writing ;)
September 28, 2007
Chapter 15 of Displaced Deception is up.
Would also like to mention that I have included an album for DD2 and that is up on the main page for the story. Have fun with it, I love making albums with Lauren and Justin! Woo.
If you are looking to be hosted, please go sign up over at Sugar n' Spice. We need more applicatns and competitors. I know some of you want to be apart of the sisterhood!
New affiliate! Alicia over at Somewhere Someday has joined the insanity so go check out her site! I was also nominated at her awards for Best Incomplete (DD2), best author, and best site. Go give her some love!
I think that's it! Oh! The Sugar Shack is back up so go sign up again and join the insanity. I've got a post going on asking YOU what you want to see me write next.
Also...I am insanely jealous of Sacramento people. You got the shirtless Justin that LA was meant to have.
Stupid bishes.
September 22, 2007
New chapter of Displaced Deception is up! Go enjoy
September 20, 2007
I'm in the process of detoxing from a week filled with nothing but Justin Timberlake, and some school thrown on the side. I live in LA so I was fortunate enough to see him at the Staples Center last night and on Sunday. So suffice to say I have had the JT overload this week and I wish it were like this all. the. time. The concerts were great, my seats were awesome, and Justin was (as always) incredible. I might put up a little extra section on this site dedicated to all my Justin concert goodness and maybe some other random stories thrown in there, but for right now, I'm still getting the hang of the new layout and all that good stuff.
And yes, applications are still being accepted for the Sugar n' Spice competition and I highly reccomend you guys go sign up and spread the word. It'll be an awesome experience for some of you unhosted writers out there. Go see to it!
Would also like to point out that Miss Brittany has started up the Vanilla Rush Awards again. DD2 has been nominated for a few things as has the original DD. Go check it out and put your nominations in! I've also been nominated at Silent Tragedy and the newly started Secretive Passions. The buttons are up under the awards section so go check them out!
New affiliate alert! I'd like to give a shout out to Kahli and Milla from Unspoken Pleasures.net! These girls are great and you should all give them a look!
Chapter 13 has been added for DD2. I'm trying to get 14 out as quickly as possible, but I want to make sure it's good before any other eyes other than my editor see it. I'm also toying with a new story idea so let me know if you guys want some new stuff from me (if not I'll finish up DD2 and just go away lol!)
That's it from me! Enjoy the weekend!
Setember 17, 2007
Woo new layout! Hopefully everything works. I have to give a big what up and thanks to Lynn for helping me with the layout and making it in the first place. Didn't she do an awesome job? Yeah I thought so, too.
The Sugar n' Spice is still accepting applications so go over there and show some love. If any of you lovely writers are looking for a host, you should go sign up and be apart of the fiction contest sensation that's sweeping the nation! or something like that.
Updates for Displaced Deception are up and I hope you enjoy them. I apologize for the length of the newest chapter. I got a bit carried away.
I'll be updating today's update text in a minute, after I make sure everything on the site is working.
Amanda
September 13, 2007
Okay few announcements:
The Hostess (Miss Nikki) has just opened a new site under the Tasting Eden banner. Ever wanted to be a member of the fabulous-ness that is TE? You've got your chance this year! Sugar n' Spice is a competition that will determine who the knew lil sister is of TE. It's exciting stuff and if you're looking for a new site to host your stories and want to have fun, meet new people, and get your name out there further, this is the thing for you! Submissions are currently open so get on it!
Displaced Deception Chapter 10 updated.
I have also switched up the layout of Displaced Deception I hope you like the new graphic, I think I'm getting better at it, no? Granted I still suck like whoa, but its a lot better from where I once was.
As the site is nearing it's first birthday, I'm trying to think of various things to do once it hits this big milestone. I'm accepting any ideas, gifts, monetary donations, or JT himself,to make Symphony's first birthday one to remember. I think that's it with the updates. I'll keep everyone posted on the story updates and go to SNS!

September 10, 2007
Um, wow. So I am a loser and there's no way of going about that.
Well I just want to let you know that the site is still (somewhat) alive. I was met with the worst case of Writer's Block I've ever seen and, sad to say, my writing of DD2 and other stories have taken a back seat to life. Believe me, if I had it my way, I would probably just sit in Barnes & Noble and write all day. But I'm back and I'm thinking that I won't be going away for a while.
Granted I will tell you straight up that this semester at school will probably be my hardest (hooray for 18 units and agreeing to be the Assistant Props Master for the musical!) so updates might be few and far between. But I'm going to tell y'all that I have all of Displaced Deception outlined and I'm getting ready to make some changes for the site's first birthday (almost a month away can you believe it?)
Wasted, I guess, is on hiatus unless I can get a hold of Miss Ashley and get permission to write the next few chapters out. I'm thinking of putting other stories out there, but we'll see how I feel after I get the rest of DD2 out.
In other news, I'd like to announce a new affiliate (not really new, it's just been a while since I've updated). Veronica over at Unforgivable Sensations. So go give her some love, she's always been around giving me support.
Updated Displaced Deception and the Wasted page has been updated. I'll keep everyone posted on upcoming updates.
Also, since I am complete crap with html and graphics, does anybody want to give the site a facelift? I'd like to do something nice for it's first birthday and since I am complete rubbish at it all, I figure I'd let someone with better talents take care of that lol. Just email me (westernwaybabe@gmail.com) or find me on AIM (dancindiva123086)
Thanks for sticking by the site. You guys are real gems!
July 23, 2007
Sitting in my religion class and hoping to high heaven that I can get through this week without stabbing my eyes out. I can't apologize enough for my disappearance this summer and I'm so sorry for getting behind and not being here for y'all. Life has been picking up what with working, school, and moving into my new apartment (which has very faulty Internet).
I was also served with a giant can of writer's block and with writing papers for my classes and trying to get good grades, my creativity for Lauren and Co. is limited. I'm sure after this week of projects and finals I should be ready to dive back into this whole thing and I hope you guys are still around. Lol, I know I've been far and away this past month or so.
I'd also like to announce that I'm toying with the idea of posting my own original fiction on this site as well as some Harry Potter things I started writing and want to get back into again. Totally up in the air of course, but let me know what you guys think about running into this sort of thing.
Again, I can't apologize enough for my lateness and my scarcity for the past few months. I hope you guys are doing well and keep on trucking!
July 15, 2007
This is basically just an update to let you all know what's goin on with my life. Not really any big updates to note. Hopefully tomorrow I can make some time to update Wasted and maybe finish the latest chapter of DD2. I just have to say that I didn't expect summer to get so freaking hectic for me. But what can I say, my religion professor is a dick and likes to give us a ton of writing and reading homework, which sucks my creative juices dry. I'm hoping to get my mojo back in August when I have plenty of time to sit on my ass as I'll be recovering from a minor surgery and can't do anything except sit.
But I haven't given up! Ashley and I are still continulously working on Wasted and you can find it all up to date on NF.com under my penname westernway. I'm also moving into my first apartment this week so most of my free time will be spent getting things for said apartment and getting settled in. And let's not forget the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I'm almost certain reading that will bring back the creative flow and if it doesn't...well then apparently JKR's magic has stopped affecting me (although I doubt that'll happen).
I hope this update finds everyone well! Just leave a bit of love and I'll let you guys know what's going on as the summer progresses.
June 26, 2007
Enormous update for y'all! So Ashley and I have posted the first chapter to Wasted on the new NF.com under my penname westernway. I've also added the chapter onto here as well so hopefully it'll work (again I'm pretty much crap with html and the like).
New chapter of Displaced Deception is up as well. We're up to chapter eight can you believe it?! Hopefully I can get some more writing done as the summer continues.
I'd also like to thank all those who voted at the Silent Tragedy Awards! Crosswind, Displaced Deception, the site, as well as myself personally pulled in some awards and I can't thank those who voted enough. Thank you for your constant support and for just being amazing!
I think that's all to report, as always, thanks for checking the site out and being awesome!
June 19, 2007
Chapter 7 of Displaced Deception is up. Don't forget to vote at Silent Tragedy!
June 18, 2007
Back in Barnes and Noble. I wanted to update this site sooner, but some reason my Dreamweaver quit on me and I had to redownload and buy a new hard drive for my computer (needless to say it was a very expensive weekend). But now I'm back to writing.
Unfortunately there are no updates right now, but Ashley and I are working hard on Wasted and we should hopefully have something sooner rather than later. But I would like to mention that voting is going on at the Silent Tragedy Awards so if you guys haven't gone to vote yet, y'all best go place 'em now. Don't forget about Ashley, Hollie, Stace, Leslie, and me! Show your support and rock out :)
An update of DD2 should be approaching. Writing during busy moments has proven most difficult for me.
June 13, 2007
So here I am, sitting in the cafe section of Barnes and Noble. I've been here the past three nights hanging around until the place closes. So to count up all the hours - I've been in b&n for almost a total of 18 hours so needless to say I've gotten a lot of writing done.
"But Amanda," you're probably asking, "where is the fruit of your laborious time sitting in b&n? I see no updates, I see nothing!" well my friends let me tell you - I've managed to kind of get up a Displaced Deception page and I'm pretty damn proud of that. Granted it isn't anything like Laurie's managed to do (where the hell are you?) but I guess it'll suffice.
"Really?" you question, "It took you 18 freaking hours to get a page up? You really are an idiot." On the contrary my dear friends...I've managed to write a few chapters of DD2 and I have also managed to start writing something with a certain someone. The outcome is on the fiction page and you're more than welcome to check it out. I cannot say when a chapter will surface, but you can bet it's soon.
But for now I'm off to continue some writing, listen to some good music, and drown myself in mocha frapps.
Cheers!
Amanda
P.S. enormous thanks to Ashley for all her help. I'm way too excited girl. And caps pretty much rock ;)
May 28, 2007
New updates with Crosswind - I finally finished it! The whole story is up on the CW page so I hope y'all enjoy it. As for new projects, I'm working on a few things (including a possible collaboration, will keep you posted on that) and the next thing on deck is the Deranged Delusions sequel - Displaced Deception. Hopefully the layout will be up soon (Laurie, Imma talking to you)
Also did some cleaning up around the site. Fixed some broken links and got rid of a few pages that were cluttering up the site. I'm trying to get better at this whole web page thing. I figure I should just learn myself and figure it out through trial and error. So if you find a wonky link, let me know and I'll try my best to fix it.
New affiliate - Maggie from Underneath the Stars! Go read Raw Intimacy, it's a doozy and just wonderfully done!
Other than that there's nothing new going on. I'm off to California tomorrow for summer to officially start! Woo hoo! Drop a line and give me some love!
Cheers!
Amanda
May 7, 2007
Big news is up on the Deranged Delusions page. If you're at all interested go on ahead and check it out :) I've also decided to make the front page just a little more colorful in terms of text. Thoughts?
May 6, 2007
Updated Crosswind - Part One is complete and Part Two should be on the way! I'm also working on another story that some people should be happy to see again. I'm not going to mention anything right now, but hopefully you guys will enjoy it! There really isn't anything to add. I'm still fiddling around with this site and I'm still trying to get the hang of this whole html business because I'm not that efficient in it yet. I'm sure it's a lot easier than it looks but I'm just a retard when it comes to stuff like that. I would love to change the layout and such, but my lack of creative layout ideas and just plain talent is nonexistent. Sorry about that. Ya'll will have to look at Justin a little while longer...sorry ;)
Cheers!
Amanda
May 4, 2007
I apologize for the lack of updates. I am so freaking happy that my Internet on my computer seems to be working. Honestly, I couldn't be happier. Im back home in the States and it's great to be back! I still miss London a lot but I know that being back in the US is good for me and now I'm back on US time I don't have to make posts at all hours of the morning.
There's an update to Crosswind so go check that out.
Also adding another short that I did for the Sugar Shack Challenges.
I'd also like to mention that Crosswind is nominated over at the Lovers of NSYNC Fiction site so be sure to check that out as well.
Nothing else to add I guess. Oh! I've added some stories over at the temporary archives. And that's all she wrote!
Cheers!
Amanda
April 11, 2007
Just an update to say that I'm still here and am actually serious about keeping this site updated and running in a timely manner. I've got three more days in London and I'm pretty sad that I have to leave. Granted my summer vacation is officially here (finished up my last final today, go me!) but I would love to spend it here than back in the States, especially since Justin is going to be in Europe this summer. What better way to spend vacation than going to see a bunch of Justin shows? Yeah, nothing better than that.
Just found out that I have over 2000 hits on the site and I'm flabbergasted. This site hasn't even been up a full six months and yet there's still people checking the place out and giving me hits. Thank you guys for keeping the site running and for keeping me going. Y'all rock some hard core stuff! Here's a reminder to y'all to join the Sugar Shack and also to check out some of the fabulous ladies in my affiliates page. They all have great reads and since NF.com is down (bummer), sites have become all the more important!
I think that's it right now. I hope everyone is having a good month of April. I know I am...summer break!
Cheers!
Amanda
April 5, 2007
Huuuge update today! I finally got off of my lazy butt and figured out the awards section of the site and did some updates for Crosswind. Also added Little Girl Lost and One Last Sonata to the site since NF.com is down (which upsets me greatly...I want it back!) Also, DD won for Best Romance at Silent Tragedy. Go check out the Vanilla Rush awards as well, still accepting nominations (hint hint!) And if you haven't already, get your butts to The Sugar Shack!
Cheers!
Amanda
March 31, 2007
Please, please, please, please don't shoot me! I know it's been a long time coming since I've last updated the site and I'm sorry for that. Things in London have been extremely busy and I haven't really had the time to write anything at the moment. THings have just been hectic and with the semester ending in two weeks, things will be crazier still.
If you guys haven't been there, my lovely lovely hostesses have created a forum for fiction and other fun stuff that I have found myself obsessed with. Head on over to the Sugar Shack and sign up if you haven't already done so. They have writing challenges that have really sparked my creative spark which is good because it's been sucking lately.
I know I haven't updated Crosswind in forever and there's a reason for that - I was met with a dead end and so I put it on the shelf for a bit. I know I should have made an announcement sooner, but believe me when I say again that London is absolutely insane. I'm not going to sit here and make excuses any more because you guys don't deserve it. I have been, however working on a DD sequel and it is a long time coming let me assure you. That process is going slow as well. But for right now I'm happy with doing challenges over at the Sugar Shack.
I won the first one as well which excited me greatly. I wasn't expecting that at all because so many talented people have turned things in. I'm in the third challenege as well and that just got underway a few days ago. It should be exciting to see what other people have written!
I think that's it for me right now. I spent most of the day writing that SS challenge and so I think I'm going to divulge myself in a little bit of London culture while I still can. Everyone have a fabulous month of April (that would be tomorrow oy vey! and hopefully I'll get some of my short stories up soon!
Cheers!
Amanda
January 16, 2007
Hey everyone! I know there's been a huge lack of updates but seeing as I'm in Jolly Old England, most updates are going to be few and far between. London is absolutely fabulous and I'm having the time of my life so far. I'm in between classes right now (gotta jet in about fifteen minutes) but I figured I'd let everyone know that this site hasn't complete gone to shit (or as my history of the modern middle east professor would say 'shite')
Crosswind is going through the motions and I promise I'll get all the updates up as soon as humanly possible. I might take a break from it for a while and do a couple shorts or maybe even start a sequel of a certain story that many know and love.
Speaking of that certain story.... it won Eight awards at 'Silent Tragedy' Eight, can you believe it? I'm in total shock and can't think ya'll enough. That story is my baby and i'm so happy ya'll enjoy it as well. I also picked up an award for best author (along with Miss Hollie!) and Streetcorner Symphony picked up an award for debut site! Woo hoo! Also, over 1000 hits and this site isn't even like, four months old. Color me surprised? Yeah, I think so.
Oh! I also went to FutureSex/LoveShow on opening night and it was fantastic! Justin was incredible and the show was just...It's way too hard to describe it. If you go, you'll understand. If not, I'll try my best to get a review page up with pictures and stuff. Look for Westernway on Youtube and you'll find some videos of the concert.
I think that's it for now. Thanks to everyone for sticking by and checking out this site. I know I've been neglecting it, but I'm trying hard not to. This place is important to me!
Much love
-Amanda
December 19, 2006
Finals are over and done with and I couldn't be happier! I am so glad that I got them out of the way and now I can just focus on writing and connecting with old friends from back home and just hanging around.
Less than a month until I see Justin in concert again and also less than a month until I'm off to London, England for four months to study abroad. I'm hoping I can do a lot of writing there, but I wouldn't be surprised if the updates are few and far between. I'll be doing a ton of travelling and focusing on my studies and seeing west end shows!
I also have to add that some pretty awesome person nominated me and hollie at the silent tragedy awards. 12 nominations... 9 for Deranged Delusions, 1 for author, and two for Streetcorner Symphony!! I'm still kind of in shock that I've got 12 nods...I kinda feel like Justin and all the nominations he's bagging. So when voting goes up...i'd appreciate a couple of ballots ;) Make for a good 20th birthday and christmas.
Anyway....I've been plugging away at Crosswind and it is coming along nicely. I have the sixth chapter up on NF.Com and will be getting it up here within the next couple of days. I might wait until the seventh chapter is done and post them both up at the same time. Just a cute little double feature for y'all.
So that's it. I hope finals treated you all well and your respective holidays are going nicely.
-Amanda
December 6, 2006
Crosswind has been updated (up to Chapter Five!) so yay for that! Also added Miss Ashley onto the affiliates page. Go check out her story Small Crime as it is fabulous and everyone should read it. Also there's a new season up on the Lovers of NSYNC fan fiction so go check that out and make your nominations (hint, hint).
I've got like...seven more days of actual classes which makes me exceedingly happy as it's only about a month away until the Justin Timberlake concert in San Diego and one month and one day until I ship my little butt off to London for four months. Don't worry, I'll try to update as often as possible while I'm over there because I'm thinking that I won't finish Crosswind by Christmas time.
Now, there might be a little Christmas treat exclusively for this site when it comes to the lovely romance of Justin and Lauren from Deranged Delusions...but that is toally on the drawing board. I might not put anything to do with DD up here at all. But we'll just have to wait and see! I've probably just pissed off a lot of people.
Also I hopefully added the new page dealing with the History of Streetcorner Symphony and I think I added the thank yous as well. Don't quote me on this because I suck at coding and all that good stuff and so the page might still be lost. I have to wait for Laurie to finish her actual life so she can help me with the html.
I think that's all. Have a fantabulous last couple of weeks. I know I'm sure as hell going to try.
-Amanda
November 28, 2006
Just wanted to add that Miss Leslie and I are now affiliates so you should all go check her out and see what she's got over at her fabulous site! I have finished the third chapter to CW, but I'm waiting to post it in a few days or so. I'm trying to write at least ten pages a day.. Hopefully we'll see some positive stuff come out of that :)
Nothing else to report! Hope everyone is doing well and staying sane during the last few weeks of the fall semester!
-Amanda
November 27, 2006
Okay, okay so I know I've been crazy busy and that shouldn't, you know, keep me from updating the site, but when you're working 7 hours a night on a musical and then you've got school work and social life to get to...well it can get a little hectic.
Hollie, Mere, Leslie, Laurie, and I won some awards at the Satisfaction Awards. I won Five...I'm flabergasted that Deranged Delusions won that many awards especially "Best Novel" And "Best Long." You guys are awesome :)
Getting Crosswind up and running and I'm doing it without the help of Laurie. Lol We'll see how that turns out.
Also won three awards over at The Lovers of NSYNC Fiction so that's exciting as well! Thanks you guys for making my month of November awesome :)
-Amanda
November 3, 2006
Almost one o'clock in the morning and I still have a ton of work to do. Rehearsals for the musical are going well and I'm having a blast. I am missing writing though and hopefully sooner rather than later I can get the ball rolling on my various projects. I'm still in the process of getting the various pages up on SS and I have added all chapters on Deranged Delusions. The whole story is up so if you want to get to reading, be my guest!
Not much else to report. I'll be crazy busy until the end of November but I'll be ready to pump out some chapters when the inspiration htis me and when I can actually sit at my computer for more than twenty minutes and write out some good pieces of fiction. I hate sitting and writing crap just because I need to write.
I'm also very upset that Lost is ending next week for thirteen weeks because this means I can't spend my wednesday flipping out at my computer. And oh man next week's Grey's Anatomy looks freaking amazing. The hot boys camping in the wilderness, getting all hot and sweaty.... oh boy sign me up. Almost as good as watching some quality Lord of the Rings...because watching rugged men running about and riding horses and fighting with swords - ain't nothing get better than that lol!
Okay. I have a character profile to work on and I don't want to do it by dammit. But yeah, I need to do well or else my father will keeel me.

Happy, happy, happy Halloween to everyone out there on the wonderful web! this isn't the fabulous Laurie, but Amanda, the person who actually owns this site. ha. I've got about fifteen minutes before I run off to a technical rehearsal for my university's musical, Damn Yankees. Hopefully this font works and if you can't read it, just Tag on the board to let me know and I'll change it. The first couple of weeks is all about experimentation and I promise by the middle of November all the kinks should be worked out!
Codes are up on the Affilliations page so be my guest and snag one! And don't hesitate to email me about becoming affiliates :)
But yes, I'd like to thank everyone for coming to check this place out. SS hasn't been up for not even three days and there's already over a hundred hits! I'm astounded and I'm glad you guys are liking the site and want to check it out. There's going to be a lot of other things happening with this site and thanks again for checking it out!
In other news, this whole technical rehearsal thing is going to be taking up a lot of my time (ie I'm in rehearsals from 5:30 - 10:30 every night until the 20th of November. So updates to the stories will be few and far between. I have finished Deranged Delusions so that's a good thing as well and you can all check that out in the fiction area of the site.
Laurie and I are still working on Loving a Lie and maybe we'll get the second chapter out soon. Crosswind is up on NF.com and it'll be up on SS within the week.
Y'all are awesome and hopefully we can see some fun times and get through the rough ones together!

None of the story pages are up yet, sorry 'bout that. I have to recode all of that; until that gets done, y'all kin jest CHILL! lol, I keed. But, may I formally welcome you to the grand opening of...Streetcorner Symphony.
